Who is responsible

AKIN GROUP SRL (“AKIN”, “we”) is responsible for the personal data described here. Our contact details are in the company block at the end of this page.

AKIN runs three businesses on this website: AKIN HORECA (restaurants), AKIN EDU (schools) and Flavour Blaster (bars and hotels). This notice covers all three.

What we collect, and why

Audit check: the restaurant name and city. An IP address is used briefly for limits and security. No personal data is asked at this step.

Full report and visit request: your name, role, email, optionally phone, best time and notes, so we can send the report and contact you.

“Something not right?”: your message and, if you want an answer, your email.

Quote request: your contact details, the products you chose, quantities, notes and, if you add one, a logo file.

Catalogue request: your name and phone, and your email if you give it.

Contact form, Flavour Blaster demonstration form and AKIN EDU form: the details you type, only to answer you or to arrange the demonstration.

We use these details only to answer your request. There is no newsletter and no marketing tick-box on the restaurant forms. On the Flavour Blaster form, news and offers are sent only if you tick the optional box.

Who processes data for us

Hosting and security: Cloudflare. Google: reading public business data for the audit and measuring website speed. Our email service for the messages you request. Analytics only after your consent. A human check on the forms.

Retention periods, legal bases and transfers outside the EU are being finalised with our lawyer and will be listed here.

Guest data we handle for restaurants

When a restaurant uses Spin and Win, the guest details collected belong to that restaurant. AKIN handles them for the restaurant under a data processing agreement, which we put in place with each client before the service starts.

AKIN EDU

The AKIN EDU page is for school staff. We collect no data from children.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, and to object to or restrict its use. Write to the email address below and we will answer.

You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP).
